Important reading for men

Mark Driscoll has written a booklet for men entitled Porn Again Christian: A Frank Discussion on Pornography and Masturbation. You can download and read it for free here. (Scroll down to the bottom of the page.)

As the title says, it's very frank. But that's what we need, right? Men need a clear, honest word on what Biblical sexuality looks like. You may not agree with everything this pastor says, but the gist of it is right on. I appreciate his willingness to step out and speak forth on a sensitive but important topic.

Thanks, Mike. FWIW, I've found Douglas Wilson's Fidelity: What Means One Woman Man to be a helpful and frank book, though I'd put the same disclaimer about "the gist" on it. On Driscoll's second topic, see these two Q&As.

Other pieces that I've found helpful for diagnosing and arming one to fight back include "Why Christians Have Lousy Sex Lives" and "Play Boy! The Cultural Victory of Hugh Hefner" (that one's a pay-only link, but I have a print and electronic version if anyone's interested) both from the sadly defunct re:generation Quarterly.
